CHANDIGARH: With just one day left for the start of
IPL matches, the cricket fever has once again reached its peak in the Tricity. Youngsters have made wide plans for the IPL season 4 and they are disclosing it in the social networking sites.
Youngsters have flooded their accounts by expressing their expectations and views about the teams of IPL. Though few are also using the medium to show there express there feeling about missing their favourite players.
"According to me it is medium of communication to not just inform the friend about the plans to watch the match but we can also discuss the performance of players. I have updated on my facebook account that after seeing Yuvraj's performance in World Cup, I wish he should have been part of Kings XI," said Rakesh Chaudhary, Resident of sector-15
Girls of the city are also not behind in sharing there plans for the upcoming season of IPL. Moreover they are also taking an active initiative in supporting there favourite team.
"For my friends, I have updated my status on my account to join me for watching IPL match in PCA stadium on April 13. The season of IPL is going to be very exciting just like World Cup. And I will be planned to keep updating my thoughts and views about the matches," said Manpreet Kaur, resident of Mohali.
Young fans of IPL have replaced their account images with the logo of the team they are supporting. Not just IPL teams and players are hot topic to chat among the youngsters. Team owners are also getting popular among the youth, in which Shahrukh and Preity Zinta have overpowered the charm.
"Though I am resident of Punjab but I am a huge fan of Knight Riders and to support the team I have decided to replace my display image with the logo of team," said Kumar Satyan, Sector-41 resident.
